Flatwater collaborates with the Angels Company to present a collage of Shakespearean scenes and monologues assembled by Stephen Buhler. The title Nick’s Dream refers to the experiences of Nick Bottom the weaver in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and the work itself weaves together Shakespearean materials to tell a new, but related story of an ordinary individual placed in extraordinary circumstances.

After several workshop sessions guided by Bob Bonaventura and Judith K. Hart, staged readings will be presented. Public input is welcome as this new theater piece takes shape. Ultimately the play will become a touring show, and a complete version will be offered as Flatwater’s final production of the 2007 season.
