"DeVoted Women" wants to reignite an intellectual dialogue regarding the responsibilities and patriotism of the vote by focusing on the suffrage movement in Nebraska.

To this end, the Angels Theatre Company is collaborating with a handful of Nebraska organizations. Last August we produced Women's Equality Day, a day of recognition, lectures, displays, and a production of Wendy Lill's The Fighting Days.

Now, the Angels Company continues with the next stage - Nebraska Next! by Carson Becker. This commissioned play uses the Nebraska suffrage movement as a springboard to discuss the value of voting in our world today. A forum and guided discussion will follow each performance. The production tours Nebraska cities in March & April.
